HatYai Trip - December 2009

HatYai is a shopping paradise for all the ladies, especially for those who is from North Malaysia. It is just taken less than 3 hours to travel from Penang to HatYai.

We are overnite in one of the famous hotel in Hatyai - Golden Crown Plazz which is located in the HatYai downtown area.

We do see quite a crowded guest from all around the places across 2009 X'mas festival seasonal period.




Local food and crackers are cheap and good taste.

There is a lot of local stuff sold at PASAR. It is warm and hot local shopping mall.

For those who are visiting HatYai, they should spend some hours to enjoy the local famous food such as - Tomyan, Sharkfin..................

LEE GARDEN is the highest building (Hotel) in the town. We have enjoy our lunch and breakfast here.

Broken Heart at Bukit Jambul

Today - X'mas Eve. I have applied one day off to send my brother to Penang airport by 5.30am. When I was on the way to Butterworth, I have decided to pay a visit to Bukit Jambul which is a famous hiking location at Penang. I take a quick hike - ~15 min to climb up. We can enjoy the natural view of Penang Forest.

When reaching the peak of Bukit Jambu, you should able to enjoy the bird view of PENANG BRIDGE! So Nice and Attractive scenary.

There are some gym facility and play ground on the peak of Bukit Jambul.

My heart was broken when I am seeing a place which 2 years ago - it is still part of Bukit Jumbul Junggle Trek.................NOW IT IS BECOME A 3 STOREY TERRACE. We lost portion of natural view. I am worry - one day we cannot see a green piece of land in Penang Island due to over development by greedy human being.

Penang Trip - Toy Museum

Toy Museum is a famous place for kids. They can see all the cartoon troy which they watched it any TV or movie.

Penang Trip : Butterfly Farm at Batu Feringgi

Due to the long holidays for Awal Muharram, I have brought my lovely wife to visit Penang Butterfly Farm since she never be there.

I cannot believe Penang state do have such great place to visit. You can enjoy lower entry ticket fees with RM10 if you brought along your MYKAD for ticket purchasing.
